The last day of NYFW was extremely hectic with me. I was on such an edge that I could barely even focus. Overdose on Kolaches and Fashion. Anyway, I had to recover from Philipp Plein to go back and get another dose. Lol. He opened his 2nd New York store on 40th & Mercer hence the ‘ No Mercy on Mercer 40 ‘. Anyway, the entire store was decked from the ceiling, literally, to the door with a-list celebs, good music, and of course Grade A fashions. I was honestly sold when I walked in to the snow white vintage Ferrari.
As flashy and over the top as his shows – his store isn’t anything short of just that. Dazzled varsity jackets, couture tennis shoes, and again A FERRARI! Lol.
What I enjoyed most is the genuine support of him and his brand. I saw alot of the similar faces from the show at the pop-up as well. Even some of his models in the crowd chatting and actually had some knowledge about the brand that they were representing. It was really cool.. Not to mention the glasses of Veuve and complimentary Heineken.. Talk about where the hood meets High Fashion.
Then came Guilty Intimates..
I ALWAYS love when my friends are living in their dreams and nothing is better than when the public receives it just as hard as you’ve been working on it – and that’s exactly what happened for my good friend Beverly of Life in Beverly Heels.
Not to mention this tasteful look, I’ve never wanted to wear something see-through AND sparkly ever in my life – but I did this day. I had the pleasure of being invited to the launch party for Guilty Intimates, which is an intimate line for the guilt free woman a.k.a. sexy ass lingerie for sexy ass women across the world!
The night started with drink tickets – free drinks – so I was already prepared for a good wow. The hor d’oeuvre were extremely tasteful. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the company was very exclusive. The debut collection was veiled with decadent laces, satins, and trims from the some of the most finest of fabrics I’ve ever felt. The hostess of the evening put the cherry on top..
